I’ve been  braiding  hair since I was 10 years old, and I never stopped until I was 19, when I had my son. I needed a better job so I gave up braiding which was my everything and started working in health care. In 2015, something drastic happened in My Life that literally forced me back into braiding. During my troubles, braids were poppin’ especially “feed-ins”  and as heavy as it was on me, I fought to keep braiding because it was something I was passionate about. As soon as I started back, my business began taking off which took me for a surprise. Even though my work was rough around the edges, I kept going and invested in myself by attending hair braiding school. In January of 2017, I received my hair braiding License (very proud moment)! I worked in a salon with 4 other ladies who helped me develop my skills. I thank God for the journey he took me on because one year and 7 months later after working in a salon, I opened my own. 4-7-2019 was the day!
